COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

We understand that COVID-19 virus has impacted Mississippi. However, Natchez has little impact and none at Natchez Grand Hotel.  At Natchez Grand Hotel we are committed to making the required adjustments and to follow the guidelines and protocol set forth by the CDC(Center for Disease Control), WHO(World Health Organizaition), and AHLA(American Hotel Lodging Assocation) in regards to cleaning and hygiene.Natchez Grand Hotel has been thoroughly disinfected and certified by ServPro-a service and restoration company.  ServPro is commited to creating a sanitized, safe, clean and comfortable environment.  Keeping our guests and staff healthy is of the utmost importance, while we continue to offer exceptional service and hospitality.

Public Areas:

We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting the common areas, with special detail given to high touch areas.  These areas include but are not limited to: front desk area, elevators, bathrooms and all door handles throughout the hotel. In addition, we have installed acrylic screens at the front desk. To limit public access inside the hotel, all doors will remain locked from the outside with access given to registered guests and staff only. Notices will be placed throughout the hotel in public areas reminding guests to practice social distancing, limit the number of individuals inside the elevators to 2 (unless the riders are of the same family) and to practice frequent handwashing or hand saitizer use..  We are also asking that our guests bring face masks to wear while inside the common areas of the hotel. 

Guest Rooms:

We clean all guest rooms following the disinfecting guidelines that the CDC recommends.  This is done after each guest leaves, before a new guest arrives as well as throughout the duration of a guest’s stay.  Special detail is given to high touch areas within the room. Frequency of a room cleaning during a guest's stayover may be altered at the guest's request.

Back of House:

We understand that our employees working in the back of the house might not have interaction with guests directly.  However, valuing their health as well, we have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting all work areas, with special attention to high touch areas.

Staff: 

Employees’ health is a priority. With that in mind, all staff members will undergo daily temperature readings along with a brief questionnaire. All staff will wear masks, gloves, and be encouraged to maintain social distancing while performing their daily jobs. Staff will undergo extensive training on CDC approved disinfecting techniques as well as the importance of proper handwashing.  This training will be ongoing as new information becomes available. Staff is reminded that these actions will not only benefit their health, but also the health of those around them, including our guests.   

Rest assured that we are committed to continuing the exceptional service that Natchez Grand Hotel has always provided.  It does not matter if you are visiting us soon or in the future, we are waiting to welcome you.
